the skirt that serves❗️

So the story behind this little piece is a short and simple one! It started off with some fabric I've had for just about forever and some left over lace fromm... let's say another event lol. The design and construction of this piece was super simple, so simple that the most complicated part was figuring out how full I could make the skirt while working with a limited amount of fabric. In addition, there was also figuring out the lace placement, pinning the lace down and sewing it into place, which had its moments, however I made it through and it all worked out. "So how did I go on to make this piece?", you may be asking yourself.. Welp, don't fret, I've made a short little video explaining how I did it! For people who are familiar with pattern making and clothing construction, it should be pretty easy to follow.
