Plaid Perfection for your Sunday brunch!

As a girl who fully endorses plaid of all sizes and colors, bringing back this dress was a must. I made this dress 3-4 years ago and although I love the plaid, at the time was not very pleased with it. I made it from fabric that I got from a fabric sale in school. The construction of the dress was made from a simple bodice pattern, while I, for lack of better words, pretty much free styled the skirt and the pep-plum piece in an asymmetric design. Although I wasn't very pleased with the outcome of the dress when I first made it, it wasn’t the design of the dress, the dress just wasn't tailored to my fitting. So years later after some experience, practice and growth I was inspired to revisit the dress and fix it up a bit. So I went in, did a little seamstress work and turned it into my favorite Sunday brunch dress.
