Well I think its safe to say two Eids too late is an understatement with this one! Here we are, at the end of the year and I'm just getting around to posting my look. So here's to this officially being a special occasion look! Because better late than never right?? This look was inspired by the Salwar Kameez, which is a traditional Pakistani style of clothing. I used polyester blend fabrics for the pants and the base layer of the Kameez (top), a polyester blend lining for the lining of the top and chiffon for the top beaded layer. I used gold seed beads to hand bead the bodice. The beading near the neckline was done free hand with no particular structure, I just worked in a way that felt right. It can however be described as vines and flowers, which is a detail I tend to incorporate within a lot of my personal art. The beading towards the center of the bodice has a more structured pattern of flowers which I also added some beading to the sleeves to match the beading on the bodice.
