What to do with your dads old golf pants??

That's right, I'm talking dockers! Ok. Time to be real, these definitely are not my dads pants and I'm not even sure if he knows how to golf! Nevertheless, these are dockers and I'm sure they were somebody's dad's at some point. No, I actually found these babies at my local goodwill and instantly fell in love with the pleats, the color, pretty much everything about them. I've always admired men's clothing for their loose fittings, functional pockets and effortless relaxed style. These pants were perfecto!...well almost. They were of course multiple sizes too big for me. But as a self proclaimed modest Fashionista, that's what I loved about them. The oversized length made for a natural high waist and beautiful cuffs while, the exaggerated width gave them the modesty and coverage I was looking for!

All I had to do was take in the waist, that was twice my measurement to seal the deal! All I had to do was take in both of the back darts an inch and then adjust the waist band. It was an easy and simple process and I couldn’t wait to rummage through closet to find an outfit for it! As I worked, I took pictures to document the process for anyone who may want to give it a try! Feel free to shoot me an email if you have any questions! Enjoy!
