Stone Cold

This look includes a black jacket that I made from a wool blend fabric and trousers that I made from a woven fabric. For this jackets design, the pattern was given to us in class, however we were allowed to choose the fabric and were allowed to add some creative design details. For example, I chose to use the wrong side of the fabric within the shawl piece in order to create a contrasting look.

The trousers, on the other hand was completely left up to us, from the design to the fabric choices. I chose to make a simple high waisted pant with lined pockets and a back zipper from a woven fabric.

Both pieces are now happy Fall/Winter staples in my closest, that is until the unfortunate demise of those lovely trousers...that I lost the patterns to smh.... #RIPtrousers *sadface

P.s. yes, this look was actually shot in the freezing cold lol hence the title ...
